Commissions

Commissioning a painting is a unique collaboration between the artist and collector. Whether you have a photo that you would like rendered in paint or a vague idea for a gift, a commission is a great way to procure something unique and personal to you. 

Commission Details

• Pricing is based on size, and corresponds to pricing for my other work. There may be an additional fee based on the parameters of the commission that I will specify before I begin the painting process.

• Minimum size is 8x10.

• An initial consultation via email or phone will take place in which we discuss price, size, substrate, and details about what you have in mind for your painting.  

• When we have agreed upon a reference for your painting, I will provide you with a contract to sign outlining all pertinent details.  At this point, we will discuss timelines, and I will ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit.  Most paintings take from 2-6 months to complete, but I will do what I can to accommodate specific deadlines that we discuss at this point.

• The balance for the commission is due upon completion, prior to delivery or pickup.  Any necessary shipping fees will be an additional cost.  Exact shipping costs will be provided once the painting has been packed, weighed and measured.
